This is my idea of a possible block in Kamloops zoned in the new proposed live/work zone. The combination of light industrial, commercial and residential builds a community where people don't have to even cross the block for daily needs including work.

  1. Great design! I think that the future of city/community planning is leaning this way. A city block incorporating light industrial, commercial, and residential all together is an idealistic concept.

  2. This is an awesome way to live. Communities made in our images. You could even design themes into them. The possibilities are endless. An all natural village with rock climbingg walls and bike paths, with kayak launches. Or a ski snowboard village. You can even make a learning type community filled with healthy food and libraries and theatres etc. Then when looking for an apartment your really looking for your interests also. This makes travel so easy and friendships easily obtained through neighbours etc. Great ideas Curt.
